Terms of Service (ToS) for Hugo Inc Bot

  1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”) and Hugo Inc (“Developer”, “we”, “our”). By adding, accessing, or using the Hugo Inc Bot (“Bot”) on any Discord server, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Bot.

  1. Applicable Discord Terms

The Bot is provided in compliance with the Discord Terms of Service (https://discord.com/terms), Discord Privacy Policy (https://discord.com/privacy), Discord Developer Terms of Service (https://discord.com/developers/docs/legal), and Discord Developer Policy (https://discord.com/developers/docs/policy). Your use of the Bot is subject to these documents; any violation of them constitutes a breach of these Terms.

  1. Definitions
  • Bot: The Hugo Inc Bot, a software application deployed on the Discord platform.
  • User: Any individual or entity that invites, interacts with, or otherwise uses the Bot.
  • Server: A Discord server (guild) where the Bot is installed.
  1. Registration and Access
  • To use the Bot, you must have a valid Discord account and the necessary permissions to invite and configure bots on your Server.
  • We make no guarantee regarding the availability, uptime, or performance of Discord’s infrastructure.
  1. User Responsibilities
  • You agree not to use the Bot to distribute spam, abusive, illegal, or infringing content, or to violate any third-party rights.
  • You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or access the Bot’s source code, internal data, or Developer’s systems without explicit permission.
  1. Limitation of Liability
  • The Bot is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Bot.
  1. Intellectual Property
  • All rights, title, and interest in and to the Bot, including its name, logo, code, and other materials, are and will remain the exclusive property of Hugo Inc.
  • We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Bot in accordance with these Terms.
  1. Termination
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Bot at any time, with or without cause, including for any violation of these Terms.
  • Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will cease immediately.
  1. Changes to Terms
  • We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on our website or other public channel. The updated Terms will take effect upon posting.
  • It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for changes.
  1. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
  • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
  • Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Almaty, Kazakhstan.
